El Tepual Airport (PMC), Puerto Montt
El Tepual Airport is an airport designated for use by the public and military in the Chilean region of Los Lagos. It is near the city of Puerto Montt in Llanquihue Province.
The airport serves the city and the nearby area. The airport is a joint military and public airport. It opened in 1960 to cater to the rising number of tourists coming to the area. As the tourist numbers rose, a new terminal was built and opened in 1995.
LAN Airlines and Sky Airline fly regular schedule It is used for chartered flights and for emergency services. Visitors to the coastal resorts use the airport for as a waypoint.
The airport is at an elevation of 294 feet above sea level and has one concrete runway.
